In researching teeth whitening options - we've found Zoom Dental to come up high in almost any review of the options to whiten your teeth. Zoom Dental is a combination of a dentist applied gel, and dentist applied laser accelleration technique to whiten teeth. The system is marketed via dentists although the company publishes extensive info on the internet.
Oddly - there is no way to use the site to find a dentist that provides the Zoom Dental system. Zoom Dental appears to compete with BriteSmile - whose website now only provides you to company-owned Britesmile clinics. There is no info on the Zoom site explaining the cost of the system - since Britesmile sells directly through their clinics -- they can price it (around $400 starting).
Do you know anyone that has tried the laser technique? Some say it's better .... others say its a useless gimmick.... What has been your experience for dental teeth whitening in the community?
I used the dentist applied Zoom laser technique just this week. The results were very disappointing. The cost was over $500. and the change was nominal. All the false witnesses from the dental staff in the world couldn't change the fact that my teeth are still more yellow than white.

I tired the zoom whitening when it first came out. It cost me $500.00, It definatley worked, even w my teeth, I had to take tetricylin when I was a child, so my teeth were perminantly a little yellow. it made my teeth way whiter than I could have ever gotten on my own w strips, I hated my teeth so much that when i was younger like 11 or 12 i actually used a very fine grained sand paper ( I know stupid) my friend told me it worked , I killed a front tooth,it turned gray. I had to get a cap , but anyway the zoom really worked, I was quite happy w it, However... The price was absolutley rediculous,I would not ever do it again, unless the price went way down.

Over time our teeth are exposed to many different substances that stain them and cause them to lose their great appearance. Things like coffee, smoking, sugar and more leave a build up on your teeth over time and this build up will leave spots and other telltale signs on your teeth.

Zoom Whitening is the best technique!!The procedure provides an average improvement up to eight or ten shades. The method, is long lasting, painless, and safe. It uses hydrogen peroxide gel and an ultraviolet lamp providing great results!

I did it today and guess what?
IT HURTSSSSS!!! my teeth are super sensitive!! :/ it's a treatment of 45 min. 3 sessions of 15min.
yes, ZOOM is sold for $500, but i got a discount in groupon for $99.00 so i had to take it.
My teeth were white but i wanted them a bit more white.
I could only take 30min of the ultraviolet light because it was hurting.
I can see my teeth a bit more white and bright now so i guess in 45 min would have been wayyy WHITE but, WAYYY too painful as well.
Supposedly sensitivity last 48 hours...lets see if it's true..
